Android Industries Process Equipment Installation Coordination

Roncelli, Inc. provided Construction Management Services to coordinate the engineering and performance of support work and equipment installations at three separate Southeast Michigan automotive supplier plants for Android Industries during a three month fast track schedule duration.

Android is a tier one supplier to the global automotive industry. The firm assembles complex vehicle system modules in aggressive delivery windows, often in close proximity to it’s clients plants. Typically, product assembly is supported by material handling conveyors and automated transfer carts on floor mounted tracks that move product trough their facilities as programmable robotic equipment perform mutiple tasks towards the assembly of the final product.

A wide range of equipment and support work was coordinated by Roncelli’s mutiple site team, including:

  • A new assembly area for front suspension and alignment, and the rework of floor mounted cart tracks and switches.
  • Reconfigure existing equipment and conveyor systems, install, program and de-bug new/replacement technology (Robotic) thus increasing the efficiency of mutiple processes, including mounting, inflating and balancing wheels and tires.
  • Construct several new working platforms, access stairs and bridges and making access to work areas more efficient and safe.
