Beaumont Auditorium & Learning Center Renovation

Beaumont Health selected Roncelli, Inc. to perform the build out of their new Auditorium and Learning Center found in the lower level of the Emergency Center at Beaumont Troy.

This new state of the art Auditorium and Learning Center provides space for not only physician/staff education and training but also much-needed space for community education. Beaumont Health has always been at the forefront in providing health education and healthy living programs to the public, as well as sponsoring various support groups within the community. Beaumont Troy will now centralize these activities in the new Learning Center. Also, the Learning Center provides a building portal for direct access to the west parking lot making pedestrian travel convenient.

The project’s work scope included a new auditorium, lobby/ pre-function space, classrooms and a learning center. The auditorium features a 14’ x 9’ projection screen with tiered seating for 173 patrons. The audio/video feed from the auditorium’s projection room is capable of being streamed throughout the Learning Center areas. The 1,200 SF classroom space may be divided into two separate classrooms by a moveable partition. The Simulation Lab features three patient “manikins” that manifest vital signs, clinical signs and symptoms. The Clinical Skills Lab features a semi private room with two beds and a bathroom, including an overhead track lift for patient transfers.
