Roncelli Celebrates Construction Safety Week 2025
Roncelli proudly participated in Construction Safety Week 2025, focusing on the practices and people that keep our jobsites safe. This national initiative gave us the opportunity to highlight core safety values and feature some of the dedicated individuals who bring those values to life.
Here’s how we honored each day of the week:
We began the week by highlighting the importance of planning. At Roncelli, safety starts before construction begins. Our Director of Health and Safety, Brett Gaudreau, ensures that every project includes clear safety protocols, daily check-ins, and pre-task planning. Planning with precision sets the tone for safe and successful outcomes.
Safety is everyone’s responsibility. On Tuesday, we focused on personal accountability with Project Safety Lead Ryan Hammac. Ryan leads by example, showing that staying alert, acting with integrity, and taking ownership are essential to creating a strong safety culture.
Midweek, we emphasized the importance of recognizing high-energy hazards on site. In alignment with National Skilled Trades Day, we spotlighted Brad Sweet, a Master Electrician and Project Safety Lead. His deep knowledge of electrical systems helps our teams identify risks early and keep job sites safe for everyone.
On Thursday, we highlighted the power of teamwork and open communication. Project Safety Lead Quintin Pavel—also a lieutenant with the Troy Fire Department—shared how the best safety programs come from empowering team members to speak up, collaborate, and look out for one another.
We closed out Construction Safety Week 2025 by recognizing four of our recent Safety Award winners: Patti Matheny, Harris Katzman, Mike Czarnik, and Ryan Ristow. These team members demonstrate what it means to stay sharp, lead by example, and push for improvement every day.
Our Commitment to Construction Safety
Although Construction Safety Week lasts five days, our commitment to safety never ends. At Roncelli, we believe that safety is built into every phase of a project—from planning to execution. We’re proud of the people who make that belief a reality across every jobsite.
Thank you to all who help make Roncelli a safer place to work, grow, and build.
