Reflecting on a Year of Growth, Milestones, and Momentum: Paul Day COO 

As we look back on the past year, we are proud of what our teams have accomplished together. This year was defined by meaningful progress, new opportunities, and milestones that reflect the strength of our people, our partners, and our shared commitment to building what matters.

One of the most significant achievements in Roncelli’s history was being awarded the Ford Louisville Air Tempering project, a $128 million project and the largest single award our company has secured to date. This milestone represents not only the trust our clients place in us, but also the depth of our capabilities as a builder and construction manager.

We also reached an important milestone in our renewable energy journey. The Fish Creek Solar project achieved its substation energization/back feed date in December, marking Roncelli’s first grid-connected power plant. This accomplishment reflects the successful energization of the substation to and from the ITC transmission line, one of the most complex and critical phases of the project. With this milestone complete, our teams are now in the process of energizing the array fields into the substation, continuing steady progress toward full project completion.

Recognition across the industry continues to affirm the strength of our teams. Ford FEL has been nominated for CAM Construction Project of the Year, and our joint venture work at the University of Michigan Health Frances and Kenneth Eisenberg Troy Center for Specialty Care continues to advance on a highly complex healthcare facility that will serve the region for years to come.

Throughout the year, we expanded our footprint across Southeast Michigan and beyond. New and ongoing work at the Detroit Zoo, Wayne State University, and multiple healthcare campuses demonstrate our continued growth in education, healthcare, and institutional markets. At Ford’s Sterling Axle and Van Dyke Plants, our teams delivered value across GC, CM, and CCM project delivery methods, further strengthening a long-standing client relationship built on trust and performance.

Healthcare remained a core focus in 2025, with completed projects across more than 20 healthcare campuses. These projects reflect not only technical expertise, but also the care and attention required to build environments where patient safety and access to care are critical.

What stands out to me this year was not just the scale of the work, but the people behind it. From the field to the office, our teams demonstrated resilience, collaboration, and pride every day. As we move forward, we do so with gratitude for our employees, partners, and clients, and confidence in the direction Roncelli is headed.

As we turn the page to the year ahead, we do so with momentum, confidence, and a clear focus on where Roncelli is headed. The foundation built over the past year positions us well for continued growth and allows us to deliver even greater value to our clients and partners.

Looking ahead, we will continue expanding our presence across key markets, including healthcare, education, automotive, manufacturing, and renewable energy. As part of this growth, we are intentionally extending our reach beyond our traditional footprint, with a strong focus on opportunities in the Cleveland and Grand Rapids markets. These regions represent key opportunities to build new partnerships and bring Roncelli’s capabilities to a broader client base.

Innovation and adaptability will remain central to how we operate. We are continuing to invest in technology and evolving processes, including the thoughtful integration of AI-driven tools, to enhance decision-making, improve efficiency, and stay ahead in an increasingly complex industry. These advancements support our ability to work smarter, maintain schedule certainty, and deliver consistent, high-quality results.
