The CAM Safety Achievement Awards are presented to companies with rates below Michigan private construction industry standards. In particular, firms must demonstrate Days Away, Restricted or Transferred (DART) ratings below 1.2; Recordable Injury and Illness Rates (IR) below 2.6; and Experience Modification Ratings (EMR) below 1.0. Roncelli’s EMR is .50.

CAM Safety Achievement Award levels include Gold, Silver, Bronze and Honorable Mentions, which are categorized by hours worked (0-50,999; 51,000-199,999; 200,000-499,999; and 500,000 plus). After hours worked, applicants are then categorized by IR. If a tie, EMR is considered.

Roncelli achieved Bronze status in the 200,000-499,999 Hours Worked category.

The 2020 CAM Safety Achievement Award winners were honored with individual presentations the last week of July 2021 at the CAM office in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
