Breaking Ground: University of Michigan Health Center for Specialty Care

On August 6, we officially broke ground on the University of Michigan Health Frances and Kenneth Eisenberg Troy Center for Specialty Care, and what a day it was.

The event, held at 3100 West Big Beaver Road, brought together community leaders, healthcare professionals, and our team at Walbridge Roncelli Healthcare Partners, all there to mark the start of something meaningful for Oakland County and beyond.

As shovels hit the dirt, there was a shared sense of excitement. This 225,000 square foot facility will bring specialty care closer to home for thousands of people across metro Detroit. For many, it means shorter drives, quicker access to expert care, and a healthcare space designed with both innovation and comfort in mind.

We were honored to be selected as the Construction Manager for this project, an opportunity to partner with Michigan Medicine and bring their vision to life. From sustainable building features to a focus on patient-centered design, this center will reflect the very best in healthcare development.
