Brose New Boston Facility Additions and Renovations, Bid Pack 3, 4 & 5, comprises a Precast walled expansion of the existing facility to the south. The 190,000 square foot addition incorporates a new logistics area, restrooms and office spaces supporting the facilities operations. The fire protection system feeding the existing building was modified and expanded to incorporate the building addition. New plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and equipment will be installed throughout.  The High Bay Addition, for automated storage, includes a heavily reinforced super flat 30” thick concrete floor.

Associated site work modified the existing west parking lot and added much needed new parking areas further to the west of the facility; including new storm sewers, retention ponds, and lighting. The existing retention pond on the east side of the property was expanded to handle the increased capacity required by the new building expansion and its new site hard surfaces.
