Expansion 3,900 SF
Renovation 20,000 SF
This project involved a 3,900 SF expansion and a 20,000 SF renovation of the Dick Scott Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealership’s showroom. The project also included extensive exterior facade upgrades to the entire facility.
To address the challenges of on-going sales activities and a site continuously filled with new vehicle inventory, phased construction segments, off shift work periods and “just in time” material deliveries were employed to eliminate adverse impacts to the dealership’s daily operations. The project was divided into three major phases. The first phase consisted of the building’s expansion and the construction of temporary “hotel” space for the sales staff within the addition. The second phase consisted of renovations to the existing showroom and the construction of permanent sales support areas. The third phase was performed concurrent with the second phase and involved the construction of the exterior auto display patio areas around the perimeter of the showroom and the painting of the service shop.
The delaership’s exterior finishes include textured plater above the showroom’s glass curtain walls and a striking main entry monolith covered in glossy, prefinished metallic panels.
