Detroit PAL selected Tooles-Roncelli, Joint Venture, L.L.C. to construct a new Headquarters and Stadium at the old Tigers Stadium site on the corner of Trumbull Avenue and Michigan Avenue in old historic Corktown.  The new Office Building will act as the Headquarters for Detroit’s Police Athletic League (Detroit P.A.L.) and the new ballpark will be the home of PAL “Kids on the Corner”.  It will provide a safe and secure area for teams to play baseball once again at the historic site. The new ballpark has been named the Willie Horton Field of Dreams.

 The project involved transforming the site of the old Tigers Stadium into a new updated ballpark, new concessions and constructing a new Main Office building for PAL. Scope included new offices, lobby, restrooms, new playing field, stadium seating, concessions, bleachers, lighting, signage and new paved walkways.

Special care was taken to minimize potential risk by securing and protecting the vacant area during construction.  Team also worked diligently to manage construction impacts to the surrounding area.  Noise, vibrations, dust and debris were minimized and removed during office hours.
