6 Floors (Basement – 5th Floor)
60,000 SF
The purpose of this project was to consolidate three separate locations of the Archdiocese of Detroit’s administrative offices into one central location. The result was that all Archdioceses employees were now under one roof at their new offices at 12 State Street, Detroit, Michigan. This project helped to launch many other, nearby building renovations in the City of Detroit’s Capitol Park Historic District.
The scope of work for the renovated offices included a complete overhaul of the existing space with the removal of all partitions, restrooms and mechanical/ electrical systems down to the structural shell of the building. New walls, ceilings, and floor finishes were installed. New restrooms, meeting rooms, lobbies and data/ communications systems were completed, along with an addition to the AOD’s media centers, including audio video upgrades. New executive and administrative offices were constructed, including offices for Detroit Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron.
