Roncelli renovated the former Stir Crazy Restaurant in Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills, MI and transformed it into an upscale Mexican dining restaurant. This is the second location for Mex Cantina, part of the Peas & Carrots Hospitality’s family of restaurants

The restaurant has a fresh new look.  The interior is bright with neon colors, eclectic furnishings, large Lazy-Susan style tables, booths, large flat screen tvs and hand painted murals. This renovation presented many challenges with modifying existing equipment and installing new kitchen equipment.  Scope included floor work, tile work, cabinetry, furniture and furnishings along with new paint. Unique lighting was mounted and hung to complete the new look of the restaurant.  Exterior improvements included installation of a patio walkway extension and installing steel framing to support the patio’s canopies, lighting, and heating. The exterior entrance has an oversized 10 ft. wide x 20 ft. tall decorative wooden door with a built-in entry door, along with colorful canopies covering the new heated outdoor patio.

All work was completed over a condensed four month construction schedule that included upgrades to the restaurants electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
