Gary Roncelli

Gary is the son of Roncelli’s founder, Raymond “Skip” Roncelli and is current acting chairman after serving as the company’s president for 45 years. He is responsible for chairing the firm’s board of directors, acting as liaison between the board and Roncelli’s management team and providing strategic direction to Roncelli’s president.

Since joining the firm more than 55 years ago, Gary has leveraged his hands-on construction knowledge and obsession for building quality projects to grow Roncelli into one of Detroit’s largest general contractors.

On a personal note
Gary lives in Armada, Mich., with his beautiful wife, Sharon. They have been married for more than 30 years and have three grown children, Gino, Anthony and Vincent. Gary and Sharon are active in donating their time and resources to Michigan, especially Macomb County.

Tom Wickersham

Thomas Wickersham is responsible for setting the strategic priorities for Roncelli and the firm’s affiliated companies and joint ventures. As president and chief operating officer, Tom provides executive direction for the company’s operations in the US, Canada and Mexico.

During his career at Roncelli, which spans over three decades, Tom has served as controller, chief financial officer, vice president-finance, and since 2008, president. He uses the principles of integrity, accountability, compassion and a sense of community to lead the Roncelli team.

On a personal note
Tom earned his bachelor’s degree in accountancy at Walsh College. He has served on various boards, including the Construction Association of Michigan as past chairman. He has also served on several committees, including the St. Joseph Mercy of Macomb strategic planning committee.

Gino Roncelli

As Roncelli’s president, Gino Roncelli is responsible for overseeing internal operations, helping build strong customer relationships, maximizing the firm’s operating performance and helping achieve Roncelli’s financial goals. He is the third-generation Roncelli to manage the company and is responsible for driving the company’s culture of operational excellence, great talent and most importantly, putting the customer first.

Gino is a University of Michigan graduate, earning his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the Ross School of Business. While building his career at Roncelli, he attended Wayne State University Law School. Now a licensed attorney in Michigan and LEED® accredited, Gino has more than 12 years of construction services experience.

On a personal note
Gino lives in Downtown Detroit, Mich., and loves the revitalization of the city. He also enjoys spending time with his family in the “country.” He volunteers with the Detroit Parade Company, the Boll Family YMCA and other Detroit-based NGOs. Gino is an avid skier, snowboarder, scuba diver and intramural sports player.

Michael J. Cairns

Michael Cairns is responsible for the financial, tax, treasury management and risk management for Roncelli and related entities. He works closely with owners, directors and project teams to ensure successful outcomes for each project and for the company as a whole. In addition, Michael maintains strong relationships with banking, bonding, insurance, accounting and other professional service organizations to assist in protecting Roncelli’s long-term financial health.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Detroit with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and has been a certified public accountant since 1993. In 1999, he began his career at Roncelli and worked at the field level as a project accountant and assistant treasurer before evolving into his current position.

On a personal note
Michael currently resides in Troy, Mich., with his wife, Paula. They have four adult children, Lindsay, Julia, Emily and Geena. Michael is an avid golfer; he has been a member of Red Run Golf Club for almost 30 years, serving as a former president and former board member and on several committees.

James Carnacchi

Jim Carnacchi is responsible for Roncelli’s bidding strategies and achieving the firm’s yearly estimating goals. On a daily basis, Jim works closely with the estimating team and upper management on bid and proposal solicitations. He also oversees Roncelli’s trade partner network, relationships and prospects.

Jim graduated from Ferris State University in construction management, holds a Michigan Builders License and is LEED AP certified. He started his career at Roncelli in 1995 as a junior estimator. In his early years at the company, he also worked as a project engineer and as a project manager. Prior to joining the company, Jim worked as a cement finisher and operator.

On a personal note
Jim currently resides in Rochester Hills, Mich., with his wife, Carrie, of 26 years and dog, Parker. Jim and Carrie have two daughters, Jillian and Elizabeth.

Michael N. Dadas

Mike Dadas joined Roncelli in 2007 after nearly 33 years at Ford Motor Company. Early on and mid-career at Roncelli, Mike was a key player in some of the firm’s largest automotive projects before moving over to manage government-related initiatives. Mike currently oversees Roncelli’s strategy, relationship-building and joint ventures for government projects.

Mike studied at Winsor Lean Manufacturing Academy with a focus in management. He also studied industrial management at Central Michigan University. He has participated in various professional organizations such as the Society for Manufacturing Engineers (SME), the American Foundry Society (AFS), the AFS White House Committee and the Northeast Ohio Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

On a personal note
Mike resides in Rochester Hills, Mich., and also has a home in Bradenton, Fla. He and his wife, Carrie, have five adult children and three grandchildren. Mike and his family enjoy boating, golf, traveling restoring cars and, most importantly, family.

Paul Day

Paul Day supports Roncelli’s overall project operations and performance. Providing guidance and leadership to planning, schedule management and staff development, Paul ensures critical goals and objectives are met and client expectations are exceeded.

Paul has 30 years of construction experience with almost 27 years at Roncelli where he started as a project engineer. He earned a master’s in engineering management from Oakland University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University.

Jereme Poxson

Jereme Poxson is responsible for developing and nurturing Roncelli’s healthcare market segment. For the past 10 years, Jereme has focused solely on healthcare construction and the unique complexities involved. He has a true passion and understanding for making sure owner operations are not affected during construction projects; this includes putting patients and visitors first.

Jereme graduated from Western Michigan University with a background in construction management. After spending a few years in Connecticut working in the family construction business, Jereme joined Roncelli in 1998 as an estimator. Developing his career from estimator to chief estimator and ultimately to director of healthcare, Jereme utilizes his unique background to provide cost-centered focus to help clients achieve their goals.

On a personal note
Jereme currently resides in Rochester, Mich., and enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and travel.

Nicole Bickers

Nicole Bickers began her career at Roncelli in 1999 as an administrative assistant. Today, as Director of Project Controls, she provides administrative support to the director of project management and oversees the administrative staff and overall management of Roncelli’s offices. Such responsibilities include managing the company’s project management software, paper and electronic document control, new company policy implementation and much more.

On a personal note
Nicole resides in New Baltimore, Mich., with her husband, Brian, and their two sons. Nicole spends a great deal of her time watching her sons play sports. When Nicole isn’t at one of their games, she’s in Caseville, Mich., with her family, traveling with friends or watching Ohio State football with her boys.

Ehrlich Crain

With more than 40 years of construction and real estate experience, Ehrlich Crain is responsible for Roncelli’s business development and marketing efforts for metropolitan Detroit. He manages the firm’s Detroit office and oversees Roncelli’s Diversity Program, which includes working with the Michigan Minority Business Development Council, the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and other local diversity and government agencies.

On a personal note
Ehrlich is a graduate of Western Michigan University and a licensed real estate professional. He is board president of the Detroit Innovation Academy K-8 Charter School; a board member of the City of Detroit Downtown Development Authority and Detroit Athletic Club; vice chairman of the board of trustees for the State of Michigan Building Authority; and board treasurer of the East Jefferson Development Corporation.

Ehrlich and his wife, Yolanda, live in Detroit, Mich., and have one son, Michael. Michael with his wife, Parris, make Ehrlich a proud grandparent of three.

Brett Gaudreau

Brett Gaudreau is responsible for ensuring the overall health and safety of Roncelli’s team members, trade partners and customers. Brett’s career in construction began with brick laying before he moved into telecommunications for safety management. Brett brought his knowledge of safety and construction experience to Roncelli in 2016. Since then, he has enhanced Roncelli’s positive safety culture while reducing accidents and injuries. His most recent accomplishment was leading Roncelli in achieving five million work hours with zero lost-time injuries.

On a personal note
Brett currently resides in Milford, Mich., and enjoys spending time with his family and close-friend group. In his free time, Brett enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking and shooting sports. He is also always up for a travel adventure.

Stephanie Maynard

Stephanie Maynard is Roncelli’s Director of Human Resources In her role, Stephanie develops and inspires the team with her positive, strategic and empathetic leadership approach. She prides herself on building relationships and transparency with team members and enjoys collaborating with others that aid her efforts to continuously improve approaches within the organization. Stephanie believes that relationship building and communication are important factors when connecting teams with management. Some of Stephanie’s primary focuses are employee engagement, talent acquisition, employee development and strategic planning.

Stephanie is a member of HR Unite Community and other community organizations. She holds a master’s degree in management with a specialization in human resource management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on management and a minor in marketing.

On a personal note
Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, attending concerts, community fundraising and traveling.

Steve Skaglin

Steve Skaglin is responsible for driving Roncelli’s business development and marketing strategy. Working with Roncelli’s directors in all market segments, Steve ensures the company is well positioned to win work and has the right strategy in place to exceed the needs and expectations of clients.

Steve is a University of Michigan graduate and has obtained numerous construction certifications, including LEED® AP. Steve began his career at Roncelli in 1994 as a project manager; through successive positions, he has led the delivery of some of Roncelli’s largest projects. Such projects include General Motors Vehicle Engineering Center, Powertrain Lab One, LG Chem battery plants and DTE Energy’s Workplace Transformation Initiative.

On a personal note
Steve currently resides in Novi, Mich., with his wife Jana. They have two adult children. Steve served the City of Novi as a firefighter and emergency medical technician for nearly 20 years. He is an active member at his local church.

Ken West

With more than 30 years of construction industry experience, and joining Roncelli in 1999, Ken West oversees the firm’s self-perform efforts. He is responsible for concrete and excavation operations, equipment allocation and the coordination of union tradesmen. Working with project teams throughout various Roncelli divisions, Ken ensures better response times, cost control and schedule adherence.

Ken is a graduate of Ferris State University with a degree in construction management. He has a Masters of Business Administration, holds LEED® AP certification and various other construction certifications.

On a personal note
Ken lives in Lenox, Mich., with his wife, Kari, and their son. Ken enjoys summer and winter activities at the family cabin, located on the Ausable River in Frederic, Mich. Ken’s hobbies include working on antique tractors, collecting vintage diesel pickups and spending time with his family.
